Description
The red berry characteristics of the vinifera grape Cabernet Franc translate as an Ice-wine into strawberry like aromas and flavors. This Ice wine is completely different from the white Ice wines. The color comes from pressing only as there is no skin contact during fermentation. The earlier it is harvested, the darker the color and the deeper the flavors.
Best Enjoyed
Best paired with chocolate or chocolate mousse, red fruit based dessert or simply strawberries and cream. Serve with ice and a splash of cold water.
